Dow Jones (Wall Street) reflects 30 large industrial and service companies in the US. Here is an honest summary of what we have tested on the market, and what we cannot promise.

Timeframes: 10m, 30m, 1h, 4h. The history is ProfitFeed (adjusted) before IG and IG afterwards.

What the figures mean

• The number tested is large, so some strategies look good by pure chance. That is why we also report how many pass the quality gate and how many have been verified against ProBacktest.
• Most strategies give less total return than simply owning the index. The value lies in smaller drawdowns and less time in the market, not in beating the index.
• The results apply to CFD and spread betting (price data from IG). They are not tested on futures.
