Privacy policy
Who is responsible for your data
Mountain Invest AB, reg. no. 559491-8251, info@profitalgos.com is the data controller.
What data and why
First name, last name, email address and password (stored as a hash, never in plain text) to create and protect the account (contract). Payment status and Stripe customer ID to give you access (contract). We do not store card details; they are handled by Stripe. Login time and IP address for security limits. Email is sent for confirmation codes, password reset, receipts and (unless you turn it off) notifications.
Recipients
Stripe (payment and VAT), our email provider and our hosting provider. Data is never sold. Processing outside the EU/EEA only takes place with lawful safeguards.
Retention
For as long as the account exists. Accounting records are kept under the Swedish Accounting Act (7 years). You can delete the account yourself under Account; the data is then removed.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and to object. Contact info@profitalgos.com. You can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Cookies
We only use one necessary login cookie. We measure how the site is used to understand what makes visitors become members and to be able to improve and market the service (legitimate interest). We then store, among other things, your IP address, country (looked up from the IP address), browser, operating system and device type, which page you came from, which pages you view, what you click on, how long you stay and how far you scroll. The same visitor is recognised between visits using IP address and browser, and when you create an account or log in the visits are linked to your account. The data is stored for at most 14 months, is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising elsewhere. "Do Not Track" and "Global Privacy Control" signals are respected: nothing is stored then. You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing us.
With your consent we also use Google Analytics (GA4, Google Ireland Ltd) with cookies to measure how the site is used. This happens only after you press Accept; advertising cookies and ad personalisation are always off and the IP address is anonymised. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of the page.
